Amazing haircut by aaron jones I came in for a gents cut as my previous barbershop experience were leaving me dissatisfied to say the least with my look. Wanting to give salons a try Aaron Jones hairdressing was my first resort due to the many great reviews I came in for my appointment and the hospitality was lovely, staff were extremely friendly offering refreshments and my brief consultation about the look i wanted was brilliant, explaining exactly how to achieve the look I wanted. Do you offer NHS or student discounts?
Yes. Selected stylists offer NHS and student discounts on set days. Just mention it when booking and we’ll match you to the right appointment. Please note that appointments with Aaron Jones are exempt from discounts.
Where can I park?
There’s plenty of on-street parking nearby, as well as public car parks within a short walk of the salon.
Can I get to the salon via public transport?
Yes. Birkenhead Central and Hamilton Square stations are just a short walk away, with Conway Park also nearby. We’re five minutes from Birkenhead Bus Station.
Is the salon wheelchair accessible?
The main salon floor is step-free, making it accessible for wheelchair users. Please note, there are three steps up to the backwash area. If you have specific access needs, give us a call before your appointment, and we’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re comfortable.
Do I need a patch test before colouring?
Yes. We always recommend booking a quick patch test at least 48 hours before any colour appointment. Drop us a line and we’ll talk you through the process.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking a few weeks ahead for peak times, but we sometimes have last-minute slots with the team too. Fill in the contact form above and we can try our best to fit you in.
Do you do curly hair?
Yes. Our Wirral stylists are specially trained in curly hair cutting and styling, so your hair’s in expert hands.
Can I book with someone other than Aaron?
Of course. Aaron leads the team, but we’ve got brilliant stylists who specialise in colour, extensions, and curls; and they’re often easier to book with.
Can I book online?
Yes. You can book online or over the phone, whichever’s easiest for you.
